OK, so I've posted up some really bad surf videos lately...hopefully this will redeem me. Reader Waldo (where has he been?) sent me the link to this. I was glued to my monitor as I watched it. It has it all: switch-footed ripping, barrels, reverse-fin takeoffs, kickflips. I was in awe!

Well, the ASP has come back to North County....and at my home break to boot! At least they chose a year when the sandbar is anemic and the tide is draining through the jetties in the middle of the heats each day. Hopefully they will not come back next year!
