A pictorial journey into the hilarity that is surfing in Southern California – with a focus on poor etiquette, bad photography, body contortions, overcrowding, and bad surfing.
Stop by daily to see if you've been caught doing your best stinkbug power-squat...and please, don't be afraid to be my muse!
I don't know though, on that board I am not sure how good I'd look.... I don't think he's egregiously bad really. Especially on the first waves. On the last one... the parallel stance....yeah... ok...
Roy's supertanker surfboards are ancient craftsmanship and ancient contours with modern resin. The surfboards are equally as gay as Roy and almost as gay as his tunnel fins.
This guy's a bit weird looking but he's clearly a competent longboarder (yeah, I guess if you're under 25 and a complete conformist there's no such thing). A bit of a cruiser and his style's slightly odd (the parallel stance) but really, he's pretty decent. Sorry to disagree with you Slater-wannabes, but in waves that soft a single-fin longboard is pretty frickin' fun. Fish are fun too. Shortboarding in weak waist-high waves is for people too poor or too narrow minded to own a quiver. Who cares what some 20-year old lame-ass thinks about you. Just have fun in the ocean, hang on to your board, don't drop in, and don't paddle through a face that someone else is riding. The rest is just fools yacking on the shoulder or net.

Have you seen his other videos? The guy does nothing more than go straight 90% of the time. Plus, that's no "single fin longboard". It's an 18' barge with a weird-ass fin. The guy is a loon, and he cannot surf. That's why he rides those trees. He lacks the skill to be a competent longboarder.
Would you rather the guy be zipping up and down the board and posing for no reason? This guy is everything thats right about surfing. Big orange outfit, helmet, huge weird board. He has it all. I bet I could find many of you guys out at your local break pumping huffing into your little dumpers, that big, wide stance of yours measuring from tail to fore trying your hardest to lay the little bit of rail in to look good. What a bunch of conformists.

A nice clip the board goes well
Are you kidding me? Goes well? Are you blind?
What a kook!
I think he has Skipper envy: without the skill and style, of course.
Long live Olosurfer!
Looks like Santa...

That's a pretty bizarre setup, but I liked his second wave.
He's a frickin' barn! and I'm in my late 30's..So I don't ride potato chip shortboards all the time..Just a plain barn!
