A Proposal

During the winter wave season, I tend to bypass my local beach break in favor of a few spots south of me. Inevitably, I pass Cardiff Reef. Without fail, there is one to eight Janitors in the lineup at Cardiff. I propose that we rename this spot "Janitor's". Between the statue and the men with brooms, the apocalypse is coming.

I'm in Florida on business this week. In the spirit of "When in Rome..." I did a Google search for Florida Surf images. Look what came up. How appropriate! LOL

Not that it's a good wave, but the guy could have done a simple S turn and extended his ride to the inside. Chop hops kill me...perhaps the lamest move ever.

More On Crowds...

...or should that be "Moron Crowds"? Reader Rick sent this in from the break I grew up surfing. While I didn't count, he's claiming 35 people just in this small snapshot of the beach. I can't wait until surfing isn't cool anymore.
