Cocoa Beach Surf Contest
According to the description of this video, these boys were warming up between heats at a contest in Cocoa Beach. I'm amazed that Kelly Slater actually survived that place.
Bonus points for the bikini girls in the first part of the video.

kinda like tow-ats without the waverunner. you know they make skim boards that do this alot better. amazing, not a single maneuver completed. c'mon baby, light my fire!
Growing up there it is pretty rough...They do get their fair share of some really fun surf...Just not much in the summer and the flatspells can be brutal...Don't forget the hobgoods, lopez brothers (they're from the west coast and it's even worse there), and some of the older guys like Charlie Kuhn and Todd Holland....I used to go to contests as a kid to watch the good guys and they used to say that Slater would be world champ someday..And I'd just laugh and tell my dad no way...I guess I was wrong...

how exactly did "light my fire" get chosen as accompanying music for that?
How did they hold heats in those conditions? Did they wait for low tide for less shallow?
