I love the high-speed, high fives! LOL

Truth be told, I did something similar once in Australia. After trekking 50K up the beach in a Ute north of Noosa only to find no ridable surf, I spent an hour doing some barefoot sand skiing behind the truck. Fun, but one of the dumbest things that I've ever done in my life!

Listening For Trains...

When I was young, while walking to lowers along the train tracks we'd always stop and drop our ear to the tracks to see if we could hear a train coming before crossing the trestle. Well, this person is probably just listening for oncoming trains, I reckon.
