I was in Laguna recently and stopped by the Wyland Gallery with my wife. I like Wyland's brush paintings and abstract pieces, but think his underwater pieces are a bit too commercial. Illustrating the point, he's now collaborating with Disney. Too bad, really.

The only place a Wyland piece belongs is in a Wyland gallery, because I never go into Wyland galleries, ever.
