This is by far the most excellent picture I had the pleasure of viewing from the Hurricane Bill swell, and maybe in all of 2009. It truly doesn't get any better than this. I pronounce this gentleman as:The King of Bill! All hail the king!

I might have had more than a few shots to contribute from "Bill". Especially when you consider all the mayhem that occurred. However, I was too busy surfing to shoot much.

Yes, he's a great surfer, but don't you guys get it--the whole surf "competition" nonsense is just a big popularity contest controlled by the Surf Crap Industry to sell you stuff you don't need.
The biggest tragedy in Surf Marketing has been Slater going bald early in life and not being "viable" to that all important Youth Market!
