Guess he had to make do with what he was dealing with on the wave face...hence, the extreme super-squat/one-leg dangle with a combined cheater-five and mini-head dippy-do!
Absolutely calculated! He has the almond "barrel" mastered. saw him get 3 or 4 long dry ones. took off standing...then to knee...then ass...and layback! reminded me of D Hynd in Litmus.
Simple, he got in to that position from sitting first. easy. Yeh & that ear surgery is pretty hardcore. You'll be out of the water for weeeeeeks! Don't tell Roy at Venice that hoods are lame.
warmjet is correct. i was there that day and saw him get about five perfect small barrels that way without ever getting burned. The guy rips when he's standing as well.
